Company-Wide Training + Comprehensive Inspections: Nanfeng Forges a Strong Safety Shield as Operations Resume

Mar 13, 2026

As the new year begins in earnest, the post-holiday work period has now fully commenced, marking an important phase in the resumption of operations across industries. Recognizing the potential challenges associated with transitioning employees from a relaxed holiday mindset back to focused, high-performance work routines, Nanfeng Fan Co., Ltd. has taken proactive steps to safeguard workplace safety and operational efficiency. In response to the directives of the Foshan Emergency Management Bureau, the company initiated a comprehensive safety campaign, operating under the guiding principle of "start as you mean to go on." These initiatives include structured company-wide safety training and meticulous safety inspections, designed to establish a robust safety culture as the company embarks on 2026—the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, which sets the strategic roadmap for the company’s long-term development.

Company-Wide Training: Reinforcing the Safety Mindset

Mindset shapes behavior, and behavior determines outcomes. Recognizing that post-holiday periods can often give rise to complacency, Nanfeng Fan Co., Ltd. designed a targeted safety training program to ensure that all employees are mentally and practically prepared for a safe and productive return to work. From February 27 to March 6, the company implemented a week-long training initiative combining both online and offline methods, ensuring that all employees, regardless of role or location, could fully participate.

The training sessions were carefully tailored to meet the needs of different employee groups. For senior management, the focus was on strategic safety oversight, accountability, and the integration of safety protocols into operational planning. Frontline production staff, on the other hand, received hands-on guidance emphasizing operational safety, personal protective equipment use, emergency response procedures, and adherence to workplace safety standards. Central to the training was a detailed explanation of the company’s "Six Ones" safety measures, a structured framework designed to address potential hazards, streamline incident reporting, and enforce rapid response mechanisms. Employees were also educated on emergency response procedures, ensuring that they are prepared to act decisively and effectively in the event of workplace incidents.

The first in-person session was led by Yu Xiaoyong, a distinguished Safety Consultant from Nankong Group, and attended by Fan Zhili and He Yaokun, Managers of the Risk Control and Safety Department at Nankong Group. Their involvement highlighted the importance of leadership engagement in promoting a culture of safety and ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Furthermore, to reinforce learning outcomes, all employees were required to complete the "First Lesson on Safe 2026," an online course organized by the Foshan Emergency Management Bureau. This mandatory training adhered strictly to the principle of "no training, no return to work," underscoring the company’s commitment to embedding safety as a non-negotiable priority.

Leadership on the Front Line: Identifying Risks Through Hands-On Inspections

Training alone, while essential, is insufficient without rigorous implementation of safety measures in day-to-day operations. To ensure that safety principles translate into practical outcomes, the company’s senior leadership took an active, hands-on approach. Executives and managers promptly visited factory floors, workshops, and production sites to conduct comprehensive inspections of equipment, electrical systems, and fire safety installations. These inspections were not merely procedural; they were designed to identify latent risks, assess operational adherence to safety protocols, and ensure that corrective measures were immediately implemented wherever deficiencies were discovered.

Through these on-the-ground inspections, the leadership team reinforced a culture of accountability, demonstrating that safety is a shared responsibility and that management is fully engaged in safeguarding employee welfare and operational integrity. Any risks identified during inspections were documented, communicated, and addressed with clearly defined corrective actions. This approach ensured that preventive measures were both practical and enforceable, fostering a safer and more reliable working environment.

Safety as the Foundation for Sustainable Growth

Nanfeng Fan Co., Ltd. recognizes that safety is not merely a regulatory requirement—it is the essential foundation for all business operations. A secure and well-regulated workplace enables employees to perform at their best, reduces the risk of operational disruptions, and enhances overall productivity. By investing in both training and inspections, the company has fortified its operational resilience, creating a safety shield that protects both personnel and assets.

As operations resume in 2026, the first year of the company’s 15th Five-Year Plan, these initiatives serve as a strong signal of Nanfeng’s commitment to sustainable, high-quality development. The integration of safety training, leadership engagement, and rigorous inspections ensures that safety principles are embedded at every organizational level—from top management to frontline employees. Such comprehensive measures also reflect the company’s proactive approach to risk management, ensuring that potential hazards are anticipated, addressed, and mitigated before they can impact operations.
